Mantra for the weekend...

Robyn was feeling energetic this morning and got up at 6 a.m.; I got up at a more leisurely 6:45 a.m.  She was already in her work clothes for the day.

I thought the Rosie t-shirt made for a good mantra this weekend.

Jack turned on the furnace yesterday.  Hopefully even with no ductwork, just holes cut in the floor, it will be warm enough to work on.  If it's above freezing in there, we can turn on the water, and actually have a bathroom to use.  Hence, the scrub brush and cleanser 'cause it's flat nasty.

Plans for the weekend are to visit the Building Materials Outlet just down the road from us here in Eagan.  It closes during the week at 4:30 pm and I haven't been able to get in there for more than a quick peek.  It opens at 8:00 a.m. and we're looking for kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity and maybe a back door there.  As soon as we done with that we're going to Creative Lighting in St. Paul.  We were driving to St. Louis Park yesterday evening to pick up a baker's rack Robyn found on Craigslist and saw that they were having their huge spring sale.  Jeff, our realtor, said we needed to check out this sale for the lighting feature in the dining room; currently it is a cheap ceiling fan with four droopy blades.

Afterwards, we may actually get some work done on the house.
